Companies House

Companies House are a governement body based.

They are very separate from HMRC and the two bodies do nto 'talk' to each other.

So do not assume that if you have filed something at Companies House then HMRC automatically get it because they don't!

The main functions of Companies House are to

• incorporate and dissolve limited companies
• store company information, as required by the Companies Act
• make this information available to the public
